Iraninan National Independance Day - Chess Event at DATCC

A closed chess event was held at DATCC yesterday in conjunction with the Iranian National Independence Day celebration. 17 Iran nationals who are either studying or working in Malaysia took part in the 6 round Swiss event which started at 10:00am and ended at about 4:30pm. The 20 minutes time control event was won by Ali Nikoukar who scored 5.5 points out of a possible 6 points, followed by Amin Kahyeai in second place, Siyavash Edalat at 3rd place and Navid Khaheshi at 4th place, all with 4 points each
