DATCC Team Event - The Registered Teams so far.....
With only 10 more days to go before the start of the 4th DATCC KL Open Team Chess Championship 2011, 7 teams have registered for the event with a few more possible teams still gathering their strength, scrambling to sign up players to ensure a balanced team.
The 7 teams that have registered to date are:
Individual players who would like to play but does not have a team, please send your name to Najib Wahab via SMS at +6016 338 2542 or write to him at najib.wahab@chess-malaysia.com to register.
If there are less than 12 teams playing, there is a good possibility that the event will be played using a round robin format where all teams will play all.
Some of the more notable chess players who have signed up for the event (without giving the team's name) are IM Mas Hafizul, Ian Udani, Mohd Saprin Sabri, Nor Ilhamuddin, Mohd Fadzil Nayan, Yeoh Chin Seng, Yeoh Li Tian, Mohd Irman Ibrahim, Azhari Mohd Noor, Zaidan Zulkipli.
