NATIONAL CLOSED INVITATION FOR RATED PLAYERS
To promote a strong field of players playing in the National Closed 2011, the organizers for the event has agreed to invite all players with a rating of 2200 and above (for Open) and 2000 and above (for Women) to participate in the National Closed event with FREE entry provided confirmation is received before 9th March 2011 - 1 week before the event is scheduled to start.
After the deadline, the entry fees for these players shall be RM50. The rating shall be based on both January and March (coming out soon) official FIDE rating list so, a player who is above the threshold in either of the rating list, shall be allowed for FREE entry.

Good move MCF and Najib. If NAG gets postponed for whatever reason, then maybe an 11 round National Close is an idea. Just a suggestion. I do hope we have NAG though.
