National Closed 2011 - Updates

To date, 23 players for the Open section and 5 players for the Women section have registered for the National Closed 2011 to be held exactly 1 month from today. With the early bird special to end on Sunday, 20th February, players who are interested to play are advice to make their payment before Sunday to grab the discounted fees opportunities before the deadline. The normal rates shall apply from 21st February onwards.

State Representatives and NCC 2010 Champions for both Open and Women have until 1st March 2011 before the normal charges take effect. So far, only Penang have sent in possible candidates for the event and the organizer expects more State Association will start sending in their candidates for the annual event.

The list of players who have registered for the event will be published by Saturday, 19th February 2011 before 12:00noon. Inquiries and further information can be obtained by writing to najib.wahab@chess-malaysia.com or via SMS/phone call to +60163382542.
