National Age Group 2011
The National Age Group is ON! After weeks of uncertainty, MCF finally confirmed the venue and date for NAG 2011 which will be hosted by UTP (University Teknologi Petronas) located in Tronoh, Perak. For those who are not familiar with Perak, Tronoh is located about 1+ hour drive from Ipoh towards Sitiawan, just before Bandar Seri Iskandar.
For those who plan to play in the National Closed 2011, there is a one day gap between the closing of NAG (on 14th) and the start of the National Closed (on 16th) so, there should not be any worries about clashing events.
The event will be played over 8 rounds Swiss with a time control of 45 minutes plus 30 seconds increment per move per player. All moves must be recorded. Entry fees for the event is RM25 for children playing in the U8/U10/U12 sections whilst those playing in the U14/U16/U18 section, the entry fees shall be RM35.
Closing date is 5th March 2011 after which the registration fees shall be doubled - RM50 and RM70 respectively.
