The Blitz Masters Chess Championship 2010 will start from 2:30pm tomorrow (Sunday, 19th December 2010) starting with 9 rounds of Swiss with the top 8 going into knock out system (2 games per match with players alternating color- if its a tied score, then a tie breaker Armageddon style will be used). A total prize fund of RM1,000 for the top 16 players is up for grabs with the eventual champion taking home RM300 for his/her effort.

Champion RM 300 each
Runner Up RM 150 each
Semifinalists RM 75 each
Qualifiers RM 50 each
Top 16 RM 25 each

Entry fee is RM 25 per player and the event venue is at Olympic Hall, Level 2, OCM Building, Jalan Hang Jebat, Kuala Lumpur

For registration, please come personally to the tournament venue anytime before 7:00pm today, or be at the tournament hall before 2:00pm tomorrow. Registration via SMS, phone call or email does not guarantee entry unless accompanied by payment. Seeding of player shall be based on the latest MCF National Rating list.
