World chess Olympiad

Malaysia finished 92nd in the open section of the Wold chess Olympiad, am improvement over the
the last olympiad where it finished 96th

In the woman section , Malaysia finished 64th , a creditable finish as it was seeded no 74th . Alia Anin Azwa Bakri the top board Malaysian player earned first WIM Norm .
