Return of the GM Simul Clock Matches

Chess players are invited to participate in the weekly GM Ziaur Clock Simul matches which will resume starting this week after being put on hold for almost two months due to Ramadhan and Malaysia Chess Festival. In this playing format, up to 8 players will be given a chance to take on GM Ziaur Rahman simultaneously and each player, including the GM, will be given 60 minutes plus 10 seconds each move to complete their games.

The first simul session will be conducted this Wednesday starting at 4:30pm with 6 seats already taken up by eager players who have requested for the early clock off. In subsequent weeks, the simul will start at 6:30pm to accommodate for working players who would like to play after their office hours.

Fees for the simul is RM60 per seat but early birds who register (and complete the payment transaction) a week by Monday (for the subsequent Wednesday simul) will received a 15% discount. As a kick start for this Wednesday simul, the fees is RM50 per player with only 2 seats left up for grabs.
