unc Aziz wins datcc Weekender

Seventh ranked outsider Abdul  Aziz  Shukor won FIDE rated  first DATCC weekender ahead of more seasoned players like Abdullah Che Hassan and Kamaluddin Yusof, a first after a long time. Aziz , regular DATCC League player,  played for EON in the last edition.

Second was also a newcomer to the individual event in recent times, Soon Wai Cheong , another regular DATCC League player
