DATCC League- NMCC a team to beat??

 

Nusa Mahkota Chess Club(NMCC) which finished 6th in the last edition ,is now 4th in the league.Captain Hairulov always make sure there are enough players to play rather than get the best players to play,  until now

After mauling 17Chess club 3.5-0.5. there seem to be a lot of confidence in the team with players like Rusdi Sidi , a player renowned for blitz, seems engrossed fully in the game (its classical 90+30).

Captain fantastic , for once has instill some kind of discipline into the team and may have warned  late comers that they may be banned from playing in competition in future.Shamsul watch out!!

With Muhd Izz Saifuddin playing in board 4 and NM Kamal Ariffin in Board 1,they should be able to maintain their placing and tomorrow the acid test against  Storm Warriors can confirm whether they are a really a team to watch and beat or just a bunch of guys who plays chess for fun.

The future of Nusa Mahkota may well be determined by the efforts they put in this tournament and a good performance may give them the opportunity to get better players in the future and put up a better teams in future tournaments including Merdeka Chess next year .
