1^st DATCC 2010 FIDE Rated Weekenders

DATCC will be organizing a FIDE Rated event over 2 weekends starting from 23^rd January and ending on 1^st February 2010 (FT Day – Public Holiday) as the kick off activities for an array of events that has been lined up for 2010. This FIDE Rated event will allow players with rating points to increase their rating performance whilst allowing more unrated players to get a chance to achieve rating points and to be listed in the FIDE rating list

The schedule of rounds for the event is as follows:

Saturday, 23 Jan (Day 1) 8:00 Registration

10:00 Round 1

15:00 Round 2

Sunday, 24 Jan (Day 2) 10:00 Round 3

15:00 Round 4

Saturday, 30 Jan (Day 3) 10:00 Round 5

15:00 Round 6

Sunday, 31 Jan (Day 4) 10:00 Round 7

15:00 Round 8

Monday, 1 Feb (Day 5) 10:00 Round 9

15:00 Closing

Time Control

The time control will be 90 minutes + 30 seconds increment from move 1

Prize Money

60% of total entry fee collected (Prize details will be announced before the start of Round 1)

The entry fee for the event is set as follows:

FIDE Titled Players (IM/GM) Free Entry

FIDE Rated Players with above 2000 Rating RM 50

FIDE Rated Players with below 2000 Rating RM 75

Unrated Players RM 100

Players below 12 years of age will receive a 25% discount
