Future GM and WGM in the making

A sending off dinner in honour of NWM Tan Li Ting and Yeoh Li Tian has been held here tonight, 11 November 2009, by Malaysian Chess Federation. The duo will be in Beijing, China for 6 weeks under the eagle eye of Chinese coaches. It is the aspiration of everyone that they may blossom into Malaysia's future Grandmaster (GM) and Woman GrandMaster (WGM).

The dinner was graciously attended by Dato' Tan Chin Nam, Dato' Alan Tong, En. Ibrahim Bakar, En. Abdul Hamid Majid, MCF Vice-Presidents, Mr. Gregory Lau, Secretary, Giam Choo Kwee, Lim Tse Pin, Selangor Chess Association Secretary. Parents of Tan Li Ting and Yeoh Li Tian accompanied their children to the dinner.
