Final Round 9 – 1st DATCC Individual 2009
Ong Thian Loon is the surprise leader going into Round 9 with 6.5/9. He just needs a draw to take clear first place at the 1st DATCC Individual (Fide-rated) 2009 being held at DATCC, Wilayah Complex, Jalan Munshi Abdullah, Kuala Lumpur on the 22 November 2009.
However he may find the going hard against battle hardened Kamaluddin Yusof in the final round. Abdullah Che Hassan on the other hand is just half a point behind Ong and may just overtake the latter to become champion should Ong lose to Kamaluddin.
