Abdullah leads after round 5

Early favourite Edward Lee drew against Yusof Kamaluddin in round 5.

Abdullah took advantage of the situation fully by beating Jun Jian Low with black pieces to firmly establish him as the front runner , going into the 6th round with a half a point lead.He should find no problem with white in disposing c Nor Ilhamuddin in the 6th round to continue to lead.
