The Dato’ Arthur Tan Chess Center will organize its’ first Monthly Blitz Event starting from 10:00am on 9 th October (Saturday). SCHEDULE & REGULATIONS: This is an open event for all players of all playing skills, age and gender.

3rd Ole-Ole Shah Alam Chess Open 2011

4 October 2011, Kuala Lumpur - Here is the announcement from Abdul Haq Mohamed for the upcoming 3rd Ole-Ole Shah Alam Chess Open 2011 to be held on the 12 November 2011 (Saturday) at Ole-Ole Shopping Centre, Seksyen 18, Shah Alam. Closing date is on the 05 November 2011. The Open and Under-12 category is just for 100 participants only.

DATCC Rapid Bonanza 2011

4 October 2011, Kuala Lumpur – Here is an announcement from DATCC of a new rapid chess tournament called DATCC Rapid Bonanza. It will be a 7 rounds of Swiss System with a time control of 25 minutes per player. It will be held on the 3rd December 2011 (Saturday) at DATCC, Wilayah Complex, Jalan Dang Wangi, Kuala Lumpur.

There will be one open event with 42 prizes which total above RM6,000. Age group players are entitled to main prize, which ever is higher in value.
