Malaysian 6 point lead gained on the first day playing classical was quicky erased on the second day when Singapore trounced Malaysia in 2 rounds of rapid as can be seen from the table above. The overall result enabled Singapore to take back the Dato' Tan Kim Yeow Trophy – winning by a narrow one point.
